Adobe ceases development on mobile browser Flash
I guess that’s that for this blog, then. Goodbye, cruel world!

Swiffy converts Flash SWF files to HTML5, allowing you to reuse Flash content on devices without a Flash player (such as iPhones and iPads).
YESSSSSS
Lex is going back to ClickToFlash, after having tried to follow Gruber’s advice on a Flash-free system. “Just a little too hard”, he says, which is the experience I had too.
The Arts House, Singapore. I wonder why the designers felt they needed a Flash footer. (It’s just a copyright notice, and a “designed by” credit.)
Speaking of SingTel, this is what their online store looks like with Flash disabled.
24-point Times New Roman bold! What a statement.
Life Beyond Words? Behind that ClickToFlash actually lies Frustration Beyond Words: a pointless spinning carousel of overwrought design. Go ahead, try it out.
Also, well done, SingTel! You win gold star for showing up on this blog many many times.
You blithering idiots. How can I possibly have a newer version than the one you just released?! (I’ve had the beta installed since end of last year, but that’s not a newer version than this, aaargh).
(I got it to work eventually by downloading and running the uninstaller, which I couldn’t find from Adobe’s site. Sigh.)
No, you idiots, I want to install Flash on my system so that my other browsers can use it, not just on the current browser I happened to be using at your download site. Aaaaargh.
Oh good. I hope it fucking installs.
