Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games So my country’s hosting the inaugural Youth Olympic Games, and we have a terribly gaudy website and two mascots with no unique character whatsoever. Ugh. I can’t even pretend to be enthusiastic about the event, and this site isn’t helping. Anyway, see that Flash box in the top right? That’s a countdown timer, done in Flash. That’s right, someone compiled a SWF file to make a countdown timer. This is the standard of web development in this country. Sigh.
